Lamprobe Benefits

Immediate results (only one treatment)

Non-invasive

Minimum discomfort

No anaesthesia required

Suitable for all skin types

Precise targeting

The Lamprobe can treat a wide range of minor vascular, sebaceous, and fibroma related skin irregularities which are very common in both men and women and can be quite bothersome to individuals.

The medical community view these common minor skin conditions, too superficial and unimportant to be worthy of their time to treat.

Because of the annoyance some can cause like snagging on clothes, bleeding with hair removal, getting caught on zippers,  causing impaired vision when on eye lids or can  just be unsightly to some people.

FAQ'S

What is Lamprobe?

The lamprobe is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment for minor skin irregularities.

We use a small medical instrument (personally picked to suit your skin and the lesion), to treat the skin irregularity quickly and efficiently. Most treatments takeseconds to carry out as the probe is held on the area for a few seconds, with instantaneous results and minimum client discomfort. This is because of thehigh to low radio frequencies used to only treat the top layers of the skin, making it a highly effective process.

What are the possible complications?

Temporary scabbing, discolouration, a slight redness for 24 hours, pigmentation / colour differences - as the skin below has not been seeing the sun.

What will it feel like?

The discomfort level experienced by the client is very minimal, with the sensation being described as tight pinching or a pin prick. The intensity can be adjusted to suit the individual.

How long until I see the results?

Most results are seen immediately

some may have minimal scabbing depending on size and area being treated, which will be left to fall off naturally.

How many treatments will I need?

Only one treatment - If doing a large amount of lesions, a few sessions may be advised, but this would be discussed at Consultation

How long does it take?

Most take no more than 30 mins depending on the amount being treated

Is there a recovery time? Aftercare?

This is really quick after treatment you can go on as normal and minimal aftercare is needed dependent on the treatment received. Looking after the area treated is very important as to not disturb the natural healing process. As the area heals, a “crusting” forms which is your bodies natural response to seal and protect. The crusting must not be picked/rubbed off as then scaring can occur.

So pat dry and allow it to fall off in its own time.

Can I wear make up after?

No - not on the area treated. You will be advised on what and when you can apply on the area at your appointment.

Will I be left with a scar?

As nothing is cut/excised/stitched, minimal, if any marks can be seen once fully healing.

I have skin tags on my upper body and thighs what should I wear?

(Don't worry about your modesty!!)

Wear comfortable loose clothing. If an item of tighter clothing is close to or covering the area to be treated, like a bra or underwear, then this will need to be modestly moved to see/treat the area and a dressing would be applied for protected after treatment.

How much will it cost?

Prices are so individual, based on time, size and amount of lesions beingtreated at one appointment, so please message for more information

With the NHS no longer offering to remove minor skin imperfections as it is deemed a cosmetic procedure and the more people looking to private hospitals, causing them to be at full capacity, I am pleased to be able to offer an affordable way for people involving minimal aftercare, dependent on the treatment received

**Please note for all treatments to moles whether it’s hair removal or mole size reduction you must have had them GP/Doctor checked first

SKIN IRREGULARITIES

Vascular skin Irregularities

They can appear in different forms and tend to be more noticeable in fair or thin skins. They are superficial and present on the upper level of the skin (Epidermis). More commonly found on the face but can appear anywhere on the body.

Cherry Angiomas

Common skin growths appear as a bright red to purple dot of blood on the skins surface.

Dilated Capillaries / Spider Navi

Also known as broken capillaries these are tiny dilated blood vessels and when they appear in an excessive amount they give the skin an overall reddish or coupe rose complexion and occurs when excessive blood stimulation through the capillaries happens. When this happens the elasticity of the capillaries is stretched and weakened and can't contract back to its original width now being dilated or broken and more noticeable on the skins surface which is undesirable to some. By just tapping along the dilated capillary with the Lamprobe it disappears as you tap.

Sebaceous Skin Irregularities

The results are instantaneous, in one treatment

clogged pore caused from build up of sebum and dead cells can make skin look dull

Cholesterol deposits

Are soft and yellowish which can get bigger over time

Milia

Harmless and non contagious plugs of sebum (the skins natural oil) trapped and results in white or yellowish round pimple like lumps

inflated pimples raised lumps filled with pus

Sebaceous Hyperplasia

Develops when the sebum (the skins natural oils) clogs the ducts causing the sebaceous glands to become enlarged resulting in gland growth that appears as tiny bumps soft papule with a yellows tone with a cauliflower or doughnut-shaped appearance

Clogged Pores

Tried endless treatments to treat congested pores this may just be the answer you were looking for!

Hyper Keratinised Irregularities

Skin growths that result from excess production of keratinised cells can be hard or soft.

Fibromas are skin growths which are benign tumours that can be flat or raised, vary in size, and range in colour from light to dark.

Seborrheic Keratosis

These are benign skin lesions. These superficial lesions appear warty, greasy, dark yellow black scaly, bran flake like.

Skin Tags

These are harmless overgrowths of skin. Usually smooth, soft to touch and most are skin coloured in a variety of tones. Some are flat some have stalks - a small fibroma can be single or multiple

that are easily removed with the Lamprobe whether it's for cosmetic look or because of any irritation they are causing you.
